D....Is For Dance

D is for Dance, Join in everyone! It makes you feel happy and it's lots of fun. You can dance to the music of your choice. Use your body and your feet instead of your voice. 

Tap dance or ballet... jazz or hip hop. Keep on going and don't stop. Make up your own steps, if you will. Keep on going and don't stand still. Your dance can tell a story that comes from within. 

Now, let's get started.....Let's all begin, Listen to the music.....let it touch your heart. 

Then your feet will do the very next part. And before you know it, you will have a happy grin. You will want to keep doing it again and again. 

They say... Dancing is good for the soul. It always keeps you young....even when you are old. Listen to the music..... give yourself a chance. Have some fun now... dance....dance....dance!

A...Is For Airplane 

A is for airplane....soaring in the sky. Just like an eagle up so high. Spreading its wings, as it makes its way. Taking all the people far far away I want to go on an airplane one day. I want to go far far away. For an adventure and to have lots of fun. With all my family, come, everyone. Mom, can we go on an airplane one day? We sure can, but I have one thing to say. There are some rules we must always obey. When we're on an airplane going far far away. We must be polite and sit in our seat. Also, be courteous to everyone we meet. The plane may be big on the outside, it's true. But inside, there's not much space for me and you. Being too loud or yelling out is really not good. Now young man is that understood? Sure is Mom, now can we go on that plane?

Promise, I'll be quiet and I won't complain. I'll be respectful and sit in my seat. Be kind and courteous to everyone I meet. Mom said, "That’s good, it's the right thing to do." "Treat others The Way You Want Them to Treat You!"

N...Is For Never

I would never......I could never...... I should never...... Get on that big roller coaster that I see It's fine for others, but not fine for me It's way too scary! It's way too high! Everyone's screaming, as they go by. But then there is laughter. It looks like it's fun. Maybe I would... just try one. Maybe I could.... Maybe I should...just give it one little try. Maybe it will be ok to be way up so high. Maybe scary can be fun. Maybe I should join everyone. Maybe I should... Maybe I could. Yes...I think I would like to say Yes.  I'll always try! Instead of saying never...then asking why. Why didn't I step out... I knew I should! And I always knew I could I could have fun if I would! And things that were scary could be good! There is a saying that grownups say, They may have learned this the very hard way "Never say Never" This is true. You don't know what you could or would do. You could do anything if you try. Don't let an opportunity pass you by! Never is a long time...and it's just the same as No! It's the complete opposite of Yes and Go! ...So before you say never....before you say no Give it a try....give it a go. You may be pleasantly surprised and then... You may want to try it again and again!

 C... is for Cat

C.... is for Cat. A small ball of fur. When they're content, they like to purr Cats can't talk, but what would they say? If they could speak and have their way. Maybe they would just let you know. How much they like the attention you show, Or maybe they'd ask for an additional treat. Something salty...or something sweet. I think they'd be honest and say what they think. Like "Please don't dress me in anything pink" I'm just a cat, not a doll to dress up. And "Please put my milk in a much larger cup!" That's only a few things they just might say. But one thing is for sure, they all like to play It's lots of fun to watch them run around. And jump when they hear a very loud sound. They love to be fed and rub by your leg. They can be aloof and don't like to beg. Cats are all different in personality, it's true. And that’s sure the same for all people too. Each one is unique and one of a kind. I think that's what God had in mind. There’s an old children’s hymn written long ago. It’s one you may have heard of, or you may even know, "All Things Bright and Beautiful..." "All Creatures great and small..." "All things Wise and Wonderful..." "The Lord God made them All!"

E...Is for Elephant

E...is for Elephant. Sitting on my bed. Oh he's just make believe. He's only in my head. But I take him everywhere that I go. And introduce him to everyone I know. He's my bestest friend, I always say... "He loves me lots and he likes to play!" He never argues or gets real mad. He's always happy and never sad. He tells me jokes all day long. He even joins me in silly songs. It's fun to have a friend no one else can see. I can always be myself. I can always just be me!  He doesn't care if my hair is a mess. To him, I always look my very best! He likes to eat peanut butter off of a spoon. And sit with me, on my bed, in my room. Yes, we're bestest friends it's true. He always smiles and says, "I love you." "I love you too," I always say. "I hope you will never ever go away..." "Cause, I'm getting bigger and growing up fast!" "And I know that my childhood will not last, but you will always be part of me." A beautiful and happy memory, but, for now, while we're still young and free, let's run and jump and climb that big tree. Sit on a branch that's so big and long. Singing a happy silly day song. We can even have a quick race. Or we can sit still and stare face to face. Whatever we may decide to do. I can be me, and you can be you! We will always be bestest friends! And our friendship will never end!
